In The Studio: Underworld – Bird 1 (Rich Curtis & Silva bootleg)
3 07 2011A bootleg production made for the dancefloor of a great Underworld track Bird 1. The original was a collab between Dubfire and Underworld. The stems were made available through one of the remix competition websites. It was produced in Logic on an Apple iMac over the course of a weekend.
This bootleg went to number one on an underground promo website called releasepromo.com

Big night with 3 phases to take care of. Phase 1 was a sunset courtyard party. Phase 2 is the courtyard night party showcasing the producers and musicians. And Phase 3 was the vinyl techno party in the main room. We played a peak time techno set in the main room – all vinyl!!!. Sounds were ranging from Funk D’void to Dave Clarke to Adam Beyer. A repeat visitor for Ritual Events, Anthony Pappa has been described as a human “drum machine”.
Yokoo warmed up with a nice set of tech goodness. We played approx. 11-12.30 before Anthony came on. Some big tracks (for us) were Sebastien Leger – The Rhythm and Marco Bailey – Jungle Laps.
Pappa came on and started with an accapella and then proceeded to weave his magic. The crowd was up for it. He had some great new (promo) tunes from Guy J and also played a tune called Bombscare (?) which tore the place down.
RichCur came on about 3.30 and wound the night out with a few big ones.
