Old mixes from the Archive – “Dingostyle in the Main Room” at Family Nightclub

3 09 2011

Apr 25 – Easter Excess with Desyn Masiello

26 04 2011

A very busy gig with sets on the courtyard and main room.  Playing relatively early in the courtyard with a building crowd was fun.  Needless to say Desyn in the main room showed why he’s a leading professional

Feb 12 2011 – Ulterior: A Wax Affair w Charlie May

3 03 2011

Big night with 3 phases to take care of.  Phase 1 was a sunset courtyard party.  Phase 2 is the courtyard night party showcasing the producers and musicians.  And Phase 3 was the vinyl techno party in the main room.  We played a peak time techno set in the main room – all vinyl!!!.  Sounds were ranging from Funk D’void to Dave Clarke to Adam Beyer.  Great review of the night from Novanation here.

Fri 11_12_09 – House Arrest feat Chris Wilson

11 12 2009

Big night at Tonic Lounge with Family’s boss of music.

Set Times

9.00 – 11.00 – Rich Curtis

11.00-12.30 – Dingostyle

12.30 – 2.30 – Chris Wilson

2.30 – close – CJM

This was our first Friday night House Arrest and the night went well.  Chris rocked the place and it was busy right up until the end…

Fri 16_10_09 – Reset Robot @ Empire (Ulterior)

16 10 2009

Reset Robot (aka Dave Robertson) has been producing some of the world’s best tech music.  He has a long history making tunes under his own name, one that we particularly hammered was The Rendition.

At the moment he’s been collaborating with Christian Smith, Alan Fitzpatrick and Dubfire.  Dubfire and Coxy have been playing a lot of his stuff lately, and that’s promo that you can’t pay for.

Reset played a trademark set, the only disappointment was crowd numbers.  But you’ve got to take the good with the bad.

Sat 10_10_09 – House Arrest feat. Habebe

10 10 2009

Late Night Addiction’s (LNA) boss comes to tonic for another House Arrest instalment.

Habebe played the main set and also dropped his new remix of Juan Kidd’s Burning which has just been signed to Erick Morillo’s Subliminal label.

We closed the night with a few new ones and some old classics.
